*The Charlotte Fair starts this weekend! Fri. 3/13-3/29 Charlotte Motor Speedway

11 Years in Strong!Get ready for all your favorite fair fun at the Charlotte Spring Fair! Admission gives you access to:  Rockin' A Ranch Petting Zoo - bringing the farm to the fair! The Aguiar Family Circus & Thrill Show, feat. The Globe of Death! The Marvelous Mutts - A spectacular canine sport entertainment show! Your favorite carnival rides from Dreamland Amusements - Super Cyclone Roller Coaster, Giant Wheel, Delusion and Dream Catcher, plus dozens more for the entire family (Ride Tickets/Wristbands Sold Separately)  PLUS a 2020 BONUS SHOW: Lady Houdini (in town for a limited time March 13-22)

*20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl Sat. 3/14 12pm-10pm Uptown Charlotte

Rich & Bennett are painting the town green for the 20TH ANNUAL ST. PATRICK'S DAY PUB CRAWL. Since the pub crawl’s inception in 2001, it has continuously grown in size and in popularity making it the World’s Largest Pub Crawl. Participants travel to the Queen City from as far away as Ireland, and Brazil to as close as South Carolina, and neighboring towns.

Hey Charlotte Metro! The weekend is almost here, and I've got your short list of noteworthy events. I'm super excited to welcome comedian and actor MARTIN LAWRENCE to the Queen City. He's headlining at the Spectrum Center this Saturday and is bringing along a crew of other comedic all-stars! I'm so glad he's making our area a part of his national tour. I'll be in attendance and can't wait to have a good laugh. I need it!

RESCHEDULED date TBD- *2020 St. Patty's Day Parade & Charlotte Goes Green Festival Sat. 3/14 at 11am N. Tryon t. & 9th St.

The parade has grown to be one of Charlotte’s biggest and best and thousands of spectators look forward to it every year.  The drum bands, musical groups, neighborhood associations, schools, alumni groups, cheerleading and drill teams, international organizations, police, fire, elected officials, commercial businesses, and anyone else who wants to be Irish for a day take part and have a ball!  The parade will step off at 11:00 A.M. at N. Tryon St. and 9th Street in uptown Charlotte. It then marches south to 3rd Street where it takes a left and marches down 3rd St. to Caldwell St.
