So it was very important to me to find a real estate agent who was a clear communicator and thorough in their explanations of complex processes to make sure I understood everything as I went through the process this first time. I interviewed several agents and ended up choosing Alisha because she is a great communicator and I could tell right away we would have great rapport. I immediately saw her as a great resource and partner in this process. Over time, what I came to appreciate most about her was her really grounding me and bringing me back to my initial goals with my home search. The market is super competitive right now and sometimes I would get overwhelmed by it. But she really listened to me at the very beginning, and when I started trying to talk myself into considering properties that weren't really a good fit for me, or got depressed about the competitiveness of the market, she would gently remind me of my original goals, get me back on track, and keep encouraging me to stick with it. Alisha was always patient, flexible, attentive (I know she had other clients, but I always felt like I had her to myself!), and super supportive throughout my search and homebuying process. So a friend of my best friend referred Alisha. I reached out to Alisha and after speaking with her and letting her know what we were interested in, from that moment on I knew my family and I would be in good hands. We were planning on relocating by the end of the summer. Well Covid-19 changed things and sped up the process. We thought we would be flying in to Charlotte for a weekend and checking out homes. That clearly changed. Alisha was sending us homes from left to right and then we saw a house that peaked our interest which was a new build at the time and currently under construction. Alisha told us she would check it out and take some videos of the home and send them to us. After seeing the videos we knew this was our home. Since we were unable to travel, Alisha went to the house weekly and provided us with updated pictures and videos. She always reassured any worries we had and provided solutions. Who would’ve thought that finding a new place were we can call home and rest our heads would be left to a realtor. Alisha is not just a realtor, she was able to find what we envisioned and dreamed of what we would be calling our humble abode. All I can say is Alisha has been amazing and such a pleasure to work with. She always goes above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. When I relocated from NC to another state I needed to sell my home rather quickly. Alisha understood that because of the distance I would not be able to be as involved as I would have liked and stepped in to fill the gap. If she was not creating checklist, helping pick out paint and hosting open houses she was there to monitor the home for service repairs.
